SPORTING TRIO MAKE BEST PLAYERS LIST

Three players from Sporting Kansas City were named in the MLS football Team of the Week powered by Audi earlier this week. The Sporting Kansas City trio of Johnny Russell, Gadi Kandi and Daniel Salloi were rewarded with a place in the best players list for week 29 following their respective performances during the 4-2 win at home to Houston Dynamo as far as MLS football is concerned.


Scottish player Russell made the starting XI after he found the back of the net twice during the Houston Dynamogame to become the first Sporting Kansas City player to score in five successive regular season matches since club legend Preki achieved the feat in the inaugural MLS football season for the club in 1996, while Salloi and Kinda were on the bench. Salloi is a candidate for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in MLS football this season and he strengthened his case with a goal and an assist during the home clash with Houston Dynamo encounter. RONALDO ONCE AGAIN LINKED WITH A MOVE TO MLS

The future of Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is still up in the air and has continued to be one of the most trending topics in the football world. The Portugal international superstar is said to be unsettled at the Italian Serie A giants and has been attracting a lot of speculations as well. Ronaldo was first said to be getting ready to leave Juventus after the end of last season following how really close it was for the Old Lady outfit to miss out on Champions League football this season. Since then, there have been different reports from varying sources that he could be set for a move away from the Italian League and one of the places he has been tipped to go is the United States.

The first club Ronaldo was linked to is his former side, MA Chester United and he was then rumored to also be eying a return to Real Madrid, the club which he left in 2018 to complete a transfer to Turin. He has also been linked with a move to French Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain, which could see him play alongside his long-time rival Lionel Messi, with the Argentine superstar sealing a surprise exit away from Barcelona and joining the French outfit this summer.

INTER MIAMI FANS TEASE LIONEL MESSI ON INSTAGRAM

Lionel Messi is now a free agent and is free to discuss with any club if he wishes against renewing his contract at Barcelona and there have been a lot of rumors regarding his future in the past few months. Messi officially became a free agent on the 1st of July as his previous contract expired on the 30th of June, meaning that he is officially no longer contracted to the club or signed under their books and can now either engage in talks with the Spanish La Liga giants over a new contract extension with fresh terms, or he could choose to leave the club and sign for another top club in Europe or beyond.

Although it appears quite more likely that he will renew his contract at Barcelona than it looks like he will join another club, Barca fans have been made to wait and sweat over what the outcome of their star player’s decision will be in the coming days. Many people believe that Messi was not able to sign a new contract early enough before the eventual expiration of his previously agreed deal because he is still away with his country Argentina on international duty, and they are still maintaining faith that he will do the needful once he returns to Spain after the Copa America.

UNITED DEFENDER REVEALS MLS ADMIRATION AMID TRANSFER LINKS

Manchester United outcast Phil Jones has revealed that he admires the United States Major League Soccer and has dropped a major transfer hunt that he could be on his way to America in the near future. The defender continues to remain sidelined through injury and has not played a single minute of football for the Red Devils in a long time. Jones has had a drop in his career in recent times and reportedly no longer has a place in the United squad.

Although United manager Olé Gunnar Solksjær has not directly given any information regarding whether or not the former England international defender will be continuing his career at the club, it is expected that he could be released at the end of the season if no club comes knocking at his door for a possible transfer.

LA GALAXY CONFIRM TWO SIGNINGS

MLS football giants Los Angeles Galaxy (LA Galaxy) have announced two signings through their second team LA Galaxy II. The double transfers were officially confirmed by the club earlier this week.

French midfielder Remi Cabral has joined the club from ValenciennesFC of the French Ligue 2. The 21-year-old has been a professional footballer since 2017.Remi is the twin brother of Kevin Cabral who recently signed an MLS contract with LA Galaxy.
